Esprit Libre is a young DJ recently installed in Montreal, who draws his inspiration from melodic techno, acid and percussive rhythms with Berlin’s industrial sounds.

After traveling to festivals as a spectator, organizing his first rave and getting involved in several collectives in Montreal, the move behind the decks was inevitable!

Esprit Libre continually seeks to renew himself, offering daring and innovative concerts and performances.

His trademark: surprising the crowd by transitioning from a style to another with a sustained rhythmic progression.

Distributor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.

Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Growing up on his parents' eclectic mix of funk and disco music and captivated by electronic music since a young age.

Today, This translate into sets where he meticulously blends all the pieces of music he loves best.

From nightclubs to festivals, afterhours to exclusive events, he’s a significant figure in the electronic music community in Ottawa and Montreal.

Beyond mixing tunes, it's about creating moods and hypnotic grooves that resonate deeply. Whether it's techno, house, or other genres, his selections are carefully curated to evoke

visceral responses.

For him, music is more than a passion... It's a transformative experience that transcends genres and connects souls on the dancefloor.

A sound selector and atmosphere creator for over a decade, he is strongly influenced by the Parisian underground scene and DJs such as Teki Latex, Brodinski and Club Cheval. Obsessed with the idea of putting the competition "in PLS" and sending it home.

His DJ philosophy is simple: "Don't be afraid to try difficult tracks, make improbable blends and be as gangster as possible behind the CDJs". Be sure it will spark your interest in pushing the boundaries of music.

Zagam takes his name from a manga character called Machine Robo. After losing the love of his life, he plunges into a spiral of darkness mixed with emotional vulnerability, a metaphor for Techno that our artist distills.
